ABOUT IRAN
Iran, with its deep historical and cultural roots, is a country full of charm and allure. Its rich cultural heritage includes 27 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Located in Western Asia and the Middle East, Iran borders Armenia, Azerbaijan, and several other countries to the north, Turkey and Iraq to the west, the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman to the south, and Pakistan and Afghanistan to the east. Human activity in Iran dates back to the Paleolithic era, and since the 4th millennium BCE, this land has witnessed several glorious eras, including the Median Kingdom, the Achaemenid Empire, and the Sassanian Dynasty.
Iran is a multi-ethnic nation where Persian is the primary language, but Azerbaijani Turkish, Kurdish, and Arabic are also spoken. Iran's artistic and literary achievements are vast, with Persian poetry and literature holding significant positions in the history of world literature.
Persian cuisine has a long history, heavily influenced by geography and culture. Its origins can be traced back several centuries when the Persian Empire's influence extended over a wide area. Persian cuisine is known for its use of unique ingredients such as saffron, pomegranate, and walnuts. These ingredients spread to the Mediterranean and other regions through Persian conquests and trade. Classic dishes like kebabs and Ash Reshteh showcase its diversity and rich historical background. ABOUT Ash Reshteh
Ash Reshteh is a cherished dish passed down through generations in Persian families, particularly celebrated during Nowruz, the Persian New Year. This soup is one of the most popular in Iranian cuisine, known for its long history and unique flavor. Rich in nutrients and deep cultural significance, Ash Reshteh is a comforting food for Persians.
The origins of this soup can be traced back several centuries and have evolved over time. As early as the 5th century, the inclusion of noodles made it more similar to the version we know today. The distinctive flavor of Ash Reshteh is primarily determined by two unique Persian ingredients: reshteh (thin noodles) and kashk (fermented dairy product). Additionally, herbs, chickpeas, onions, and dried mint contribute to its rich and layered taste. Noodles symbolize good luck for the new year, making this soup an essential dish during celebrations like Nowruz and Eid.

What’s the difference between “Hands-on Experience” and a “Professional Cooking Class”?
In our hands-on experience events, the focus is on “interacting with local people or instructors” and creating a warm atmosphere of “preparing the table together.”
It’s similar to preparing a dinner with locals in their homes, where each person has different tasks, but we “do not specifically emphasize learning cooking skills.”
This is different from a professional cooking class, which places more emphasis on teaching the techniques of cooking. If you are interested in learning how to cook international cuisine, we have other cooking classes available for you to choose from, or you can always contact us anytime!”

The experiential cooking activity focuses primarily on providing participants with an immersive experience of local culture and the taste of unique international cuisines. Therefore, please understand that the venue does not have a professional kitchen like in a culinary course.
