身為漆工藝人間國寶王清霜結業藝生，並師承王賢民、王賢志藝師，王清源藝師不僅具備完整的漆藝傳習歷練，更持續精進，將其對水墨、書法藝術的深厚學養，融入漆畫創作中，巧妙運用「錯置」、「分割」、「重疊」等技法，雕塑出屬於自己的「漆畫」語彙與風格，近年屢獲大獎的《媽祖文化意象》系列畫作，即是他融合古今，兼具現代感與藝術性的最佳代表。
As a graduate of the special contributor to lacquer art, Wang Ching-shuang, and a student of artists Wang Shian-min and Wang Shian-chi, Wang Ching-yuan continues to improve based on his complete experience in lacquer art learning. He integrates his profound knowledge of ink painting and calligraphy into the creation of lacquer paintings, and uses skillful techniques such as “misalignment”, “division” and “overlapping” to build his own lacquer painting lexicon and style. His Cultural Imagery of Mazu series, which won influential awards in recent years, is the masterpiece of his fusion of ancient and modern styles and artistry.
